Dr. James W. Cain, Superintendent, KleinIndependentSchool District, will be our speaker on August 4, 2010.
Klein ISD superintendent Dr. Jim Cain has been leading the district as superintendent since 2004. Dr. Cain’s career background includes serving as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, instructional officer, and director of school administration in Klein ISD, area superintendent in Fort Bend ISD, and assistant/associate superintendent for administration in Klein ISD.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and graduate degree from the University of Houston.
He has served as president of the University of Houston’s College of Education Alumni Association and was also named the association’s Volunteer of the Year in 1995.
Dr. Cain and his wife Susan live in the Klein community. Their two children, Ashley and Ross, attended KISD schools. Susan is active in area real estate with Coldwell Banker United.
