  Speaker: Amy Fields, Recruiting Operations Officer.  5th Brigade Army Reserve Officer TrainingCorps.


Amy L. Fields, a native of Toledo Ohio, was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Field Artillery from the University of Toledo’s Army ROTC Program where she earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Social Work. She was commissioned into the Active Army and served on Active Duty for almost eight years after which she joined the United States Army Reserve.  Amy Fields received her master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in Organizational Management.

Currently, Ms Fields works for the Department of Army as a Recruiting Operations Specialist, with the 5th ROTC Brigade, United States Army Cadet Command in San Antonio, TX where they have the mission of commissioning officers across eight states and at 36 host programs. She is also currently still an active member in the Army Reserve after 20 years of service and is assigned as a Battalion Commander of the 1/355th Regiment out of Round Rock, Texas.

Ms Fields military schools include the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course, Field Artillery Officer Advanced Course, Combined Arms Services School, the United States Army Intermediate-Level Education Course and the Advanced Operations Course.  She currently resides in San Antonio, Texas.
