Education: Michael has a Master of Public Affairs with a concentration in nonprofit management from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University Bloomington. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in both journalism and political science from Indiana University Bloomington.

Experience: Michael brings a unique and diverse background to his job. After spending more than four years as a daily newspaper reporter, Michael decided to switch industries and pursue a career in fundraising and nonprofit management.

Michael joined The Eliminate Project team at Kiwanis International in December 2012 as a campaign area director, where he works with volunteer leaders to increase fundraising and volunteer recruitment for The Eliminate Project. He was promoted to Lead Campaign Area Director in June 2014. As of Sept. 1, 2014, Michael was promoted to be the Campaign Associate Director for Fundraising.

During his journalism career, Michael covered local government operations in Indianapolis, Lafayette, West Lafayette and Bloomington.
