Featuring: Charles Sperry

Charles A Sperry currently serves as a Foreign Affairs Officer in the Office of Chinese & Mongolian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.  He is a Presidential Management Fellow working on the strategic communications and Congressional affairs portfolios.  Mr. Sperry served as a U.S. Army Intelligence officer and holds the rank of Captain, he has served for five years active duty and reserve. He has a MSc degree from the London School of Economics in International Affairs and a LL.M. from Peking University in International Relations.  His undergraduate degree is from the University of Utah where he received a BA in International Studies with minors in Chinese and Military Science, graduating cum laude.  Mr. Sperry is also a distinguished military graduate, finishing in the top 5% of all U.S. Army cadets for 2012. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has spent significant time living and working in China and other parts of East Asia.
