Speaker: Reverend Edward Stein

The Reverend Edward L. Stein was born and raised in Houston, Texas. His family has been in Texas since 1840. He is a proud product of HISD schools, and earned his B.A. from the University of the South, Sewanee. Additionally, he earned his M.Div. The Virginia Seminary, Alexandria, Va. His certificate studium was earned from Keble College at Oxford University.

Reverend Stein is an  Episcopal Priest of the Diocese of Texas and has served St. Martin's Church in Houston. He also served 2 terms as Episcopal Chaplain to Rice University. He was Canon of Christ Church Cathedral in Houston as well. He retired in 2016.

Reverend Stein is on the Board of Camp Allen, Episcopal Camp & Conference Center;  Chair, Diocesan Liturgical Commission; Commission on the Ministry of the Church;  Examining Chaplain to the Bishop.
