Speaker: Lenoir Josey

Lenoir graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA with special honors in History, and then he attended UT Law School, where he graduated with an LLB and later a JD.  Lenoir entered Harvard Graduate Business School and received his MBA in 1986.

He then moved to Houston to accept a job as the assistant to the president of the Alaska interstate company, which specialized in mergers and acquisitions.  Three  years later, Lenoir joined Josey Oil Company, which was owned by his wife’s (Susan Fowler Josey) family.  During his time with the company, Lenoir rose through the ranks from assistant to the president to being the president.  He successfully re-organized Josey Oil into four separate corporations due to a family dispute.

Lenoir has served on many boards and committees including LMJCO inc, River Oaks Country Club, River Oaks Breakfast Club, UT Longhorn Breakfast Club, UT Houston, and Le Commanderie de Bordeaux Houston to name a few.
