Speaker: Mark Kosmoski

Mark graduated from Texas A&M in 1979 as a professional engineer. He is currently affiliated with the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, and Texas Society of Professional Engineers.

Mark is serving as the Director of Operations/Engineering for I.S. Engineers, LLC. In this position he oversees the civil design of TxDOT interstate and connector roadway systems and bridges. Additionally, he works with the county and toll road systems. Prior to this position, Mark started and worked at  Kosmoski Consulting. At his firm, Mark worked on design and consulting engineering for public and private projects that included due diligence reports, site reviews and topographic, boundary and improvement surveys. Previous to owning his own form, he co owned a firm named Kirst Kosmoski Inc for over 15 years.

Two highlights were Houston’s inaugural “Power of Houston” fireworks display and the PGA Championship at the Champions Golf Course. Both events were given glowing reviews for
superior traffic management. He also planned and parted out what are now the Planning and the Building Services Departments.
