Speaker: Rebecca Rabinow

Rebecca Rabinow is the director of Houston’s Menil Collection, an internationally renowned museum located in Houston’s Montrose neighborhood. Before joining the Menil in 2016, she was the Leonard A. Lauder Curator of Modern Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. During her 30-year career in New York, she curated dozens of exhibitions and created the Leonard A. Lauder Research Center for Modern Art. Rebecca was born in Cambridge, Mass., and has lived in New York, New Jersey, Paris, Louisiana, and Texas. She attended high school here in Houston at St. John’s School, which honored her with the Maverick Award in 2017.
