George Nino

George serves as EVP Legal and Compliance for Yokogawa Corporation of America (YCA) and has a similar role with KBC Advanced Technologies (KBC). YCA and KBC’s ultimate parent company is Yokogawa Electric Corporation, which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and operates in 60 countries. Yokogawa provides advanced solutions in the areas of measurement, control, and information to customers across a broad range of industries, including energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and space.

George often speaks about the responsible use of Generative AI and related legal and ethical issues. He recently discussed these topics with executives and lawyers at SMU and on a Stanford Law School panel. George also posts about AI on LinkedIn. Earlier in his career, George worked as an International Law Enforcement Specialist with the Department of Treasury and a Special Assistant United States Attorney with the Department of Justice. George graduated from Yale and Stanford Law School.
